Sometimes we wonder why the Strangers bother to plan anything.

Still in the caves in Vanadir, Stergen, Francis, Pip, and friends are trying to stop the flood of monstrous troops into the East March. But first, they need to stop the flood of troops into the cavern where they're standing! If they succeed, can they find and close the portal that Darian thinks churns within the mountain cave?

And... we still don't know why the forces of the Demonlich are attacking southern Calize anyway. Hunh.
